I'm typically at home when I need to refer to an address list, anyway.

Palm software doesn't play nice with Windows 10.)

(The address files I saved in CSV format in Excel were originally from the Palm software I had on an old Windows 7 computer, before I replaced it with a Windows 10 computer. The one I am using now was printed using Palm software 3-4 years ago. I only ever keep just one printed "address book" at any given time. I'd probably make some guesses as to what format is 'wanted' - and have it all be for naught. Honestly, it just seems easier to enter the info afresh, rather than try to work from that busy spreadsheet. I'd have to scroll across many, many columns - including many that are empty and several that are filled with information that doesn't show entirely with the current width of the columns. However, as I said, it is pretty complicated and hard to read. It is already in Excel in CSV format, so maybe I should give this a try. Never got around to trying Microsoft's database (Access?). I used to use dBase III+ and export the CSV file, but phased that out after several years. It is easy to search for something using Control-F. I would then print the file of names as multiple columns so that I could get around 30 names with related data on one printed sheet. Each name got its own "paragraph" and each paragraph was separated by one or more blank lines. I played around with it some years ago and found that I could put Name, Address, Phone, Email, etc.

I love using the free Moffsoft calculator that was recommended here and hope someone can help me find a good address book!I prefer to use Microsoft Word or LibreOffice Writer to track such data. (In case you were wondering why I just don't get a smartphone.) I still have good reasons for holding off on getting a smartphone and don't even use my flip phone very much, so I don't even bother to enter this info in my cell phone. (I used to just do this using Palm software that linked to my Palm Pilot, but that doesn't really work stably or easily in Windows 10, so I don't use it anymore.) from where it can also be easily printed, as well. I just want a place to keep addresses, tel. The above method works with any version of Outlook up to Outlook 2003, despite newer versions not including it as a configurable option in the user interface.I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good, free address book program for Windows 10. Windows Contacts introduced with Windows Vista does not support sharing contacts with Outlook. This feature works only up to Windows XP and Outlook 2003. After setting this value, Outlook Contacts are shared with the Windows Address Book. Note: Users should back up the registry before making changes.Ī DWORD value named "UseOutlook" (if not present already) can be created with its value set to 1. A registry value has to be set at the following registry key location: One of the undocumented features of the Windows Address Book is integration with Microsoft Office Outlook. This approach has since been adopted by many commercial spammers. In May 2000 the ILOVEYOU virus showed how the Windows Address Book could be part of an exploit to spread malicious software by accessing and sending email to a user's contacts.
